Oakstar's past- Chapter 1.

Oakkit crawled around the nursery, his eyes closed shut. He couldn't tell where he was going but he could smell. "Hello!" He heard a voice. Oakkit moved his head in all directions, trying to find the cat that greeted him. Oakkit's nose twitched as he sniffed once more. 'this cat doesn't smell like mama.' He thought, turning his head, trying to get back to Mousefur. Mousefur purred, licking the small brown kit. "When will he open his eyes?" A small she-kit mewed, looking at Oakkit. "I hope it's soon because I want to play!" Oakkit had heard laughter and words, unsure what to do. "Come on! Open your eyes now!" The kit mewed, prodding his face with her paws. Oakkit was confused. "Open them up!" The kit mewed once more. "Stop messing with him!" A voice called, and the kit stopped bothering the tiny brown kit, scampering over to the big cat. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to play with my new denmate. You're no fun, mama." She mewed, a hint of anger in her voice.

Oakkit seemed to open his eyes, a day or two passed since he was being bugged by the annoying kit. He looked around and then suddenly faced Mousefur, who was purring softly. "You've opened your eyes." She mewed, licking Oakkit's head before resting her head on her paws. "Watch out!" A kit mewed, crashing trhough the den, rolling over. Was that the kit who bugged him all day? "Oh! You've opened your eyes!" She mewed. Oakkit narrowed his eyes, he really didn't like his denmate. "My name is Spottedkit." She meowed, unsure if the brown tom was listening to her. "Well? Are you going to say something? You're really quiet!" Spottedkit mewed, jumping up and down. Oakkit didn't respond to the annoying kit and went back to his mother, feeling afraid of the orange-and-white kit who bugged him all day yesterday. Oakkit curled up beside Mousefur, shaking with fear and also, he was a bit cold.
"Hey, Come on, let's play!" Spottedkit mewed, pawing him before he could get some sleep. Oakkit closed his eyes tighter, wishing that she would go away. "Aww, you're no fun either. Probably when you get to meet Tigerpaw and Sunpaw, you'll be more fun." Spottedkit mewed, knowing that the two apprentices were terrible influences towards kits and they'd always try to get thier own way, but that was the fun thing about the two. Oakkit looked around. Where was Tigerpaw and Sunpaw? Were they kits like them?
I think my writing is coming back. There's more in the chapter than the prologue. Most of the Roleplayers of Valleyclan didn't expect to see that Tigerstar and Sunflower used to be bad influences. In the second chapter, more is revealed about the camp and the cats. Spottedkit is annoying. Really annoying. I hope you enjoy this, because it'll just get better! I'm not also an artist who draws, I also write.
